plymouth valiant , my "racer" for some action at the new redbull ring in austria.
and the rolls roycer as the official pacecar for this event !
in the garage......and on the track !pacecar in front of the fastest ford falcon on earthor in front of a rare LMK 917
break at the pit stopand no brakes on the valiant after to turns à 25 minutes
emily in the wind...
...with other "toys" at our pit......and on the track againand the valiant meets friends at every turn
late 60ties barracuda and commodoreriley from the 30ties
...lotus in hands of a lady...and so on !
hope next year we get another chance to bring our toys to the redbull ring in styria to have the same fun as this year !!!
lets go there on 5th and 6th october...

the natopolitan needs a mothership.what could be better than the best of british ingineering from 1960 , a set of nascar wheels and a small lowering job !
the 6,2 liter V8 is strong enough to put the nato coloured roycer into the 200 km/h region.
thats why emily wears helmet and parachute ! biggest fun ever at the classic car show near vienna last week !!!

METROPOLITAN was yesterday - now the NATOpolitan is on the road !!!after weeks of body and chassiswork the little nash is ready to get some attention.
great wish of mine was to run the 5,5" and 6" early fuchs wheels from my callookprojects on this funny american coupe. 145/15 at the front and 205/70 in rear are a must have !!!
it works nearly perfect on this american / british cooperation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and the next project in the garage to get this colour left great britain 1960 , with a V8 in front , luxury inside and a woman in front , outside , in the wind...

MIERSCH DDR PORSCHE

because everybody is speaking this days about this ugly homemade whatever DDR porsche 356 / berlin - rom lookalike.some guys speak about a " miersch " i think thats not one.
a guy from germany told me that mr. miersch was the man with the money behind three cars he let built.
he never built cars as he was a shoemaker. at the dresden university they make plans and also work on some details.
this is the only restored one:this old pic is from maybe......this one ore from number 3 ?as you can see on the pics are the doorhandle , the door itself and the line of the windows are the same.
DDR in the early 50ties was the leader for a lot of homemade cars.
the built "replicas" from volkswagen busses , porsches but not from beetles because they had with IFA cars their own volkswagen.
and with our "morsche" here in vienna we have great fun at car shows...

the only thing i like from the new mini cooper are the 17"wheels.so i looked for a cheap set for my cube.
a lot of work was done before the black powdercoated wheels fitted on the japanese box.

the "experimental" , a honda zoomer / ruckus in the garage gots yesterday the correct wheel in the rear !!!
after weeks of measuring , turning and assembling the 14" fuchswheel fits with a 185/30/14 tire on this crazy honda scooter.a lot of other things are to do now , but the main part is done !
everybody knows now a new assignment for the 14" fuchs wheels.so see you maybe in chimay 2011 with the nosback and the fuuxer ?!?

a nice t2b luxus bus with working sunroof had some days asyl in my garage.

about two years ago i killed the tranny at a burnout in the "livingroom".

woodn floor gets more grip then asphalt and the stock gearbox collapsed...

both "notches" at one place now !

plan is , the new rancho gearbox and a strong running 2110ccm engine fix into the NOSback.

some blog readers remember that this combo was reserved for the "redical dasher" , but around this fastback begins another story on another blog...

after collecting a lowmiler japcar 2 door sedan
some month ago and working a little bit on the body ,
the suspension and the technic its on the road again !

the lugpattern at this datsuns are horrible to get cool rims on it but...
...i found out that the smart fourour used the same holes !!!
and after some calls a set 16" alloys from the smart connection was mounted.
hard to believe but they fit exactly under the fender of the datsun 100 AFII !!!
fine , fine , fine , i am lucky with the wheels , the stance and the...no , not with the power ! the racing stripes are a perfect reproduction from a original datsun "c-stripe-kit"

and thats the reason
why i call this toy MOONsun

and for the red brother of moonsun i got a set cosmic wheels from a triumph TR6...
...and thats not all , a set of front and rear axleparts are at a specialist to find out whats the way to get fuchs wheels on one of this datsun legends...

and for the old 205 pattern it was not easy to get bigger wheels , exapt empis .the good old sprint star wheel gaves buggys the grip !!!and after this period porsche gear boxes are the favorites , with 5 lug 130mm and , YES , fuchs wheels !!!
wrong idea was to use a 411 on 13" wolfrace...
